WfW GREEN partners show their eco-friendly commitment by foregoing the sale of bottled water and serving tap water instead. A fixed percentage of their revenue from tap water flows into the implementation of WfW's water, hygiene and education programmes in Mozambique, Switzerland and Zambia.
CONCEPT
Restaurants forego bottled water and exclusively serve tap water, still and sparkling. A fixed percentage of all revenues from the sale of water flows into the implementation of WfW's water, hygiene and education programmes in Mozambique, Switzerland, and Zambia. Foregoing bottled water preserves the environment, opens up storage space and reduces costs. A partnership with WfW guarantees that all costs and efforts will be deployed where most needed.
Ecological Value of Tap Water
The eco-balance of tap water is up to 1,500 times better than Swiss bottled water. On average, WfW GREEN partners avoid incurring ecological damages equal to a 150,000 km drive – the equivalent of almost four times worldwide – in only one year.
«Through our WfW partnership, we make a direct contribution to people without access to clean drinking water with every bottle we fill. At the same time, we are actively promoting the conscious use of water on a daily basis and improving our environmental footprint.»
Lukas Zehnder, Chief Culinary Officer des KKL Luzern
IMPLEMENTATION
Tap Water
Bottled water and untreated tap water are completely replaced by treated tap water, both still and sparkling.

Contributions to WfW
