WfW IN SUNDAY TIMES OF ZAMBIA

Interested in learning about our impact in Zambia and about Tumba's personal motivation to make a difference in Zambian society?

14 December 2022

Tumba had the opportunity to speak with journalist Dorothy Chisi from the newspaper Times of Zambia. In the interview, she talks about the water, sanitation and hygiene work we do in Zambia and why WfW's positioning in the country is unique.

We are happy about this beautiful interview and the fact that the paper was sold out. Read the full article published in the Sunday Times of Zambia here: Upclose with Tumba Mupango.

«It is a unique positioning as the organisation supports capital investments in water supply systems as well as supports skills development to maintain these investments. […] Zambia has a lot of water bodies, but the water cannot be consumed by people in its raw form from our rivers, streams and lakes. There is need for treatment and other capital investment to ensure that the water is accessible, clean and safe for people to drink.»
