The Summer Bar on the Reuss focuses on homemade and regional food and drink. Each year, they donate 12,000 Swiss francs to the WfW project work in Switzerland.
As part of the redesigning of the Reusszopf, a small oasis was created with the summer bar NORDPOL. The NORDPOL avoids unnecessary transport and focuses on regional and homemade food and drinks as well as direct partnerships with small suppliers. In addition, music from all regions of the African continent is played.
Fixed amount to WfW Projects
NORDPOL is the first social business concept to involve WASSER FÜR WASSER (WfW). WfW developed the concept together with restaurateurs Mike Walker, Dominik Schmid and Manuel Kaufmann. NORDPOL donates a fixed amount of CHF 12'000 to WfW projects in Switzerland annually.
