In the article, WASSER FÜR WASSER (WfW) comments on this topic as an expert and clarifies that in this discussion it is important to distinguish between drinking water and water bodies: "Our surface waters and groundwater are polluted by the use of pesticides or fertilisers, which means more effort in treatment. This makes drinking water less natural and more expensive," says Nora Murer, Head of Communication. As the most controlled foodstuff in Switzerland, tap water is safe to drink.
