For almost ten years, we have been developing solutions for a climate-friendly and fair use of water - a diverse network of around 600 partners supports us in this endeavour every day. Despite the broad support, the closure of the restaurants has left a seven-figure gap in our budget.
Will you help us to repair this enormous (water) leak?

Your financial support promotes the further development of WfW and thus strengthens our project work in Zambia, Mozambique and Switzerland. In this way, you engage with us for a climate-friendly and fair use of the resource water.
Some concrete insights into our project work:
Due to inadequate sanitary infrastructure, many girls stay away from school during menstruation, which increases inequality of opportunity. By building gender-separated toilets, we can counteract this - for more safety and equal opportunities in education.
In Lusaka, there is a lack of skilled workers to build and maintain water supply systems. Together with a local vocational school, we provide young people with water-specific vocational training - for future prospects and a professional water supply.
Although high-quality, ecological and inexpensive tap water is available in Switzerland, a lot of bottled water is consumed. Together with companies and the catering industry, we raise awareness of the value of tap water - for a climate-friendly use of water.
Every year, hundreds of millions of school days are lost worldwide due to diseases caused by lack of access to basic sanitation and drinking water. Together with primary schools, we enable safe sanitation and access to drinking water - for good education and equal opportunities.
Millions of people have to spend a lot of time and effort to get water for their daily needs. Together with local partner organisations, we enable affordable and safe water access in low-income urban areas of Zambia.
