TRAVELLING EXHIBITION

Whether it is a blink of an eye of the lively street scenes in Zambia and Mozambique, an excerpt from Jenala Kafula's training as a sanitary plumber or moments that tell about the everyday life of students at the vocational school in Lusaka: our travelling exhibition captures special moments of our work and provides an insight into the world in which we realise water projects. A few days ago, the exhibition in Lucerne moved from the Alfred coffee bar to the Petrus restaurant.

Caffeebar Alfred

From March to November, nine WfW pictures decorated the walls of Caffeebar Alfred. The small pub, a WfW favourite for its warm atmosphere and perhaps the best coffee in town, has been part of the WfW network since 2021 and is thus committed to the sustainable use of the resource water. As the first home for the colourful insights into water-related vocational training and everyday scenes from Zambia and Mozambique, Caffeebar Alfred has provided warm conversations around WfW and our projects. "The pictures generated sincere interest and created lively conversation, especially at the beginning," says Jan Halter, who is part of the Caffeebar's management team. In the resulting conversations, not only the partnership of Alfred with WfW, but also a certain part of our work could be brought closer to the guests in a sustainable way.

Restaurant Petrus

We are pleased to be able to share the WfW vibe with the customers of our gastro-partners. Since the end of November, a selection of the pictures has found a new home at Restaurant Petrus at Claridenstrasse 2. The restaurant with its modern Italian cuisine has been a WfW GREEN partner since 2019 and is popular with WfW employees for a delicious lunch. We are looking forward to the response of the exhibition at its new location and would be delighted if you paid Petrus a visit to enjoy a delicious meal, a glass of WfW water and see the exhibition for yourself!
